Coronavirus – Thailand added to the UK travel redlist

UK Visa information blog

The British government on Monday added Thailand and Montenegro to its travel “red list”, with Thai citizens banned from traveling to England from Thailand unless they have residents’ rights. If you are a British or an Irish national and those living in the United Kingdom are allowed to travel from red list countries, but they must quarantine in a hotel for 10 days on arrival at an extra cost.

Thailand has now moved to the red category as low vaccination levels leave Thailand vulnerable to new coronavirus variants.

What if you are double jabbed?

Even if you have received 2 x doses of Astra Zenica/Pfizer you will still need to quarantine on arrival in the UK.
