If you’re travelling to Thailand, you’ll now need to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card — a quick and paperless way to register your entry into the Kingdom.
This digital system replaces the traditional TM6 paper form, making your immigration process smoother, faster, and more efficient.
📲 What Is the Thailand Digital Arrival Card?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is an online immigration form required for all non-Thai nationals entering the country. It collects personal and travel information, which is submitted electronically before or during arrival.
This modernised system helps reduce queues at immigration counters and improves border security.
✅ Who Needs to Complete It?
All foreign travellers entering Thailand — whether for tourism, business, education, or long-term stay — must complete the form. Thai nationals are currently exempt.
📋 What Information Is Required?
You’ll need to provide:
Full name, date of birth, and nationality
Passport details
Flight number and point of entry
Purpose of visit (tourism, business, etc.)
Accommodation address in Thailand
Contact number and email
📥 How to Submit the Form
Visit the official Thailand Digital Arrival Card platform –Contact Us
Complete the online form — ideally before departure.
Save the QR code or confirmation on your mobile device.
Present it to immigration upon arrival.
✈️ In most airports, you’ll scan your QR code at the immigration e-Gates for quicker processing.
🕒 When Should You Fill It Out?
It’s best to complete the card 24–48 hours before your flight, though it may still be submitted upon arrival if necessary. However, pre-completing avoids delays at immigration.
⚠️ What If You Forget?
Some airports may have kiosks or staff to help you complete the form on arrival, but this can slow down your entry. You may also be asked to manually complete a paper form in some cases.
